Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Are you noticing a decrease in your immunity, frequent irritability or sleep problems? Is your body regenerating slower than before and your sports results are not improving? Or perhaps you need support in regeneration, healing, or reducing inflammation? Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a perfect treatment for children, adults, and seniors, for athletes and those suffering from chronic diseases. It is excellent for anyone who wants to take a deep breath and feel better! It’s your recipe for longevity!
One hour of relaxation and true oxygenation
A session of hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a non-invasive and painless treatment that involves… relaxing in a special chamber. The high pressure allows pure oxygen to reach all tissues, organs, and body fluids. Natural regenerative processes in the body are activated, which begins to function much more efficiently than before. Preventative sessions add energy, youth, and health. Therapeutic sessions support the treatment of chronic diseases and injuries.

How it works
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a therapeutic method that is used by both healthy individuals who want to maintain their body and mind in good condition, as well as patients suffering from various diseases or injuries. During the session, you inhale oxygen at a very high concentration (in our case, it’s 93%) under conditions of increased atmospheric pressure – 1.3 ATA. Thanks to this, oxygen reaches all cells, tissues, body fluids, and organs in the body. It even oxygenates so-called ischemic foci, which are areas that are not oxygenated during normal breathing. The body receives an energy stimulus that stimulates all physiological and reparative processes. An 8-fold faster production of stem cells, the most important cells responsible for the body’s condition and regeneration, begins. That is why the spectrum of positive effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the human body is so wide. Therefore, it is worth using hyperbaric chamber sessions regularly.

Procedure
At SI Strefa Regeneracji, we care about your comfort and safety at every stage of the procedure. You are under the care of real experts who conduct a detailed interview with you regarding your health status and exclude any possible contraindications for the treatment before the session. We use two types of modern soft hyperbaric chambers – the NT2200, in which you can undergo a session in a lying or semi-seated position, and the “sitting” NT2021. This chamber is adapted for wheelchairs, so at SI Strefa Regeneracji we also offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy for physically disabled people.
Before the treatment, we conduct an interview about your health status, exclude contraindications, and discuss all stages of the procedure. Armed with the necessary knowledge and an oxygen mask, you go to the selected chamber where you spend a pleasant 60 minutes. You can bring something to read, a laptop, or just indulge in blissful laziness. It’s your 60 minutes, during which the pure oxygen inhaled through the mask works wonders in your body. Throughout this time, we remain in contact, as the chamber is equipped with a window. After the session, you may feel a sudden surge of energy or, conversely, drowsiness. Both reactions are normal and ultimately improve your well-being.

“Preserve your vitality, because life without health is like a river without water.”
Book nowMost frequently asked questions about hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a therapeutic method that involves administering oxygen to the patient at a concentration of 93% (compared to 21% in the air) at an increased pressure in the chamber (1.3 ATA). These conditions cause the inhaled oxygen to be distributed throughout all tissues, organs, and body fluids, including so-called ischemic foci. This stimulates the body to activate and maximize all natural processes. A 60-minute session in a hyperbaric chamber carries many benefits for your health and well-being.
A single treatment lasts for 60 minutes, plus the time needed for compression and decompression. The total time spent in the chamber is approximately 60-70 minutes.
Yes, as long as it is conducted under strict supervision of a specialist, who will rule out any potential health contraindications and ensure the session proceeds smoothly. At Si Strefa Regeneracji, our qualified personnel prioritize your safety throughout the entire treatment.
At least 12 hours before the treatment, do not consume alcohol, and at least 2 hours before, do not smoke or consume carbonated beverages. Try not to use any lotions, oily creams, hair styling products, or perfumes before the session. Just before entering the chamber, use the bathroom and drink a small amount of water. Wear comfortable clothing, preferably made of cotton. That’s all you need to know. We will tell you the rest on-site.
During the first few minutes of the treatment, you may experience sensations similar to those at the beginning of a flight, such as clogged ears and headaches. However, once the pressure reaches the optimal level, these discomforts should disappear. The remainder of the session can be spent calmly breathing and relaxing. Towards the end of the session, you may again experience ear discomfort due to decompression. After the treatment, it’s possible to feel either sleepy or energized. The reaction depends on your body’s individual response.
Strong hyperbaric oxygenation stimulates and accelerates all metabolic and regenerative processes in the body. This eliminates inflammation, speeds up wound healing, reduces pain (even migraines), facilitates weight loss, and improves skin condition. For athletes, it facilitates recovery after exercise and increases endurance during endurance training. It improves mood and concentration, stimulates the immune system, and facilitates the removal of toxins. It even accelerates the production of stem cells responsible for the body’s condition up to 8 times. These are just the most important benefits of regular use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. You can read more on our blog.
You will feel better even after one session. However, if you are looking for lasting results, we recommend regular use of the hyperbaric chamber. The number and frequency of treatments depend on the problem you are dealing with and the effect you want to achieve. For preventive health purposes or to improve sports performance, we recommend 5-10 treatments at maximum intervals of 2 days. If you are looking for support for the treatment of a specific condition, please visit our blog or contact us – we will help you tailor the appropriate session plan for you.
Yes, it is. It also is a big support if a child suffers from AZS, ADHD or autism.
The chamber may seem quite small, but during the session, its walls inflate, resulting in a significant increase in space. In addition, it is equipped with windows through which you can observe everything that happens outside. The inside of the chamber is white and illuminated, so you don’t have to worry about the darkness. You have a special intercom at your disposal, which allows you to call the staff at any time. And if that’s still not convincing, you can always bring a companion with you to provide comfort ?
The effects of hyperbaric therapy are not limited to a single area, the therapy works holistically and supports the treatment of many diseases. The use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy is recommended as an adjunctive treatment for conditions such as:
- Skin wounds and diseases such as atopic dermatitis (eczema), psoriasis, acne (including rosacea), fungal infections, ulcers, skin rashes, hives, wounds (including post-operative wounds), skin infections, necrosis, bedsores, skin allergies.
